Cyrus Broacha is out of the reality show Bigg Boss OTT 2. Owing to a family emergency, the TV host had to exit the show on Sunday night. While initially there was a speculation it was a temporary exit, as per the announcement made by Bigg Boss in last night’s episode, this marks the end of Cyrus’ journey in the reality show.
As per a statement shared by JioCinema, there was a medical emergency in Cyrus’ family. The statement read, “We regret to inform you that Cyrus Broacha had to take an emergency exit from Bigg Boss OTT 2 due to a sudden medical emergency in the family. As per Cyrus and his family’s request, we request you to allow privacy and understanding during this difficult period. Further details regarding the show will be shared in due course.”
For readers, who missed the episode, on Monday’s episode, Bigg Boss called Cyrus Broacha to the confession room and shared that his family has sought his exit owing to an emergency at home. He was asked to leave the house immediately on humanitarian grounds. Later Bigg Boss informed housemates about his exit and asked them to pack his luggage and leave it in the store room. Given they could not even bid him goodbye, the housemates were left saddened with some even tearing up.

While Cyrus’ exit came through a family request, he had expressed his desire to leave the show on the Weekend Ka Vaar episode with Salman Khan. The Bakra host shared that he has not been getting any sleep and with a scarcity of food in the house, his health is getting affected. He informed the team how his diabetes is now borderline, leaving him worried about his health. The Bigg Boss OTT 2 host tried to calm him down and even got Cyrus’ friend Kunal Vijaykar to join him on stage to convince him to stay.
As he kept on requesting that he be sent home and even told Salman that he will touch his feet, the latter reminded him how he would have to pay a hefty penalty if he leaves the show voluntarily. Salman even told him that he would regret his decision of leaving the house as he will let go of a big opportunity.
